Donald Joseph Qualls, better known as DJ Qualls is an American actor, producer and fashion model. He shot to fame after his performance in Road Trip. Since then DJ Qualls has starred on 20 features such as The New Guy Hustle & Flow or The Core. In addition, he's appeared in over 22 television shows like Breaking Bad Supernatural and Scrubs. Qualls who was diagnosed at the age of 14 with Hodgkin lymphoma, is an extremely strong fighter. Two years later, the cancer is now in remission. His body was badly affected by treatment, and the development of his body was slow down. Because he was a child of the poverty of his home, he longed to be financially secure. After living so modestly over the years I have to be able to enjoy this financial security. If not, the world appears to be beyond my control. In an interview the actor also discusses his childhood. He is determined to stop bullying. He says that cruelty breaks his heart. The perfect job for DJs is one of a real-life father. But he says "Directors aren't casting me for these roles." He'd love to become father one day so he can devote more time with his child as well as his professional.
